Lunch Packed Up and Boots Tied Tight

I finally got the End of Year Wrap-Up posted, and now it is already time to talk about the beginning of a new school year.  Summer is just way too short. 

This year, I am back in the primary grades, teaching 1st through 6th English.  Needless to say, it is quite a bit more planning, teaching, and running around like a chicken with my head cut off than last year's preschool work.  But, I survived the first week.  And so did my students, who have to be the coolest kids on earth.
