Weekending

Weekends during the summer months are always fun. When teams come to spend a week at Casa Hogar, they have a party on Friday night. This past weekend we had a party. This one was extra special, because several kids shared what they have learned this year in flute and piano lessons. They have also been working with dance coaches to learn native Mexican dances, so we had the opportunity to see the fruit of their labor. Then, dance party! The kids and team danced the night away.

Saturday morning I, along with my friend and fellow teacher Anna, led a Bible study and swim party for a group of Casa Hogar girls. They spent time thinking about how they can live for Christ from their head to their feet, and we looked up Bible verses to remind us who we are in Christ.
