Nostalgia

I am packing to move to a new house, and came across some old pictures.  I wish I had a scanner!  In one, I am trying to wrestle out of my brother's arms, with a very mischievous look on my face.  Who knows what I had just done.  In another, I am about 2.5 years old, playing football with two of my brothers and our boxer, Hershel, in the backyard.  I had such a fun childhood.  Here are just a few of my favorite memories:
  • Watching the Smurfs and Fraggle Rock on Saturday morning.
  • Seeing ET at the old LaFayette movie theater.
  • Elementary school slumber parties.
  • Playing in the hay loft at my friend Kelly's house.
  • When it would rain a lot, a creek bed beside our house would fill with water.  My brother and I loved playing in the creek.
  • The "canoe incident" with Joe and I and our friends Christy and Zach.  Shhhhhhhhh.
  • Catching fireflies on summer evenings while Mom and Dad worked in the garden.
