It's Monday!

This was our first Monday back after a nice two week Spring Break.  I forgot to set my alarm, woke up late, didn't have time to take a shower and forgot my lunch.  Good start.  When I did get to school, this smiling face greeted me:

This is our social butterfly, Laura (name changed.)  I walked into her classroom today during lunch, and Laura came up and talked to me for awhile, went to get her lunchbox, came back to tell me something else, hung out at her BFF's table for a minute, went to get water, stopped by a classmate's table to chat, asked her teacher a question, then came back to talk to me again.  She started eating lunch after all her classmates finished, made it to recess 3 minutes before it ended, then flitted back into the room to start socializing once again.

I asked her once where I could buy a Laura like her. She said, "the stores are sold out. But, if you want a Cara, they have some."  Laura makes the best faces for the "emotions" game, has style, and loves life.

My prayer for Laura is that she will always love life and make others smile, and that she will grow up to be woman after God's own heart.
