Okay, so it has been awhile. A quick catch-up--Happy Birthdays all around, Happy Flag Day, Happy Father's Day, Happy First Day of Summer, and Happy Independence Day.

I have spent the past few weeks becoming a full-fledged nomad. I am in a pretty weird place right now. I spent my twenties being exceptionally responsible, but the first month of my thirties finds me "floating"--I am not getting ready for the new school year beginning in August or going to a job daily. All for good reason, but it still feels pretty strange. I will be living a nomadic lifestyle through the remainder of 2007 as I return to my hometown for a few months (special thanks to the Hicks family and the Joslin family for helping with the move!), then head west for a month (mid-September through mid-October). After that I will head south of the border for language school for a month, then settle in Acapulco. I feel much better about the plan now that there actually is a plan, but I still have my moments of near-flip-out. I'll be fine, though, because it's all good. Seriously.
