About 2.5 years ago, a girl from my church that I really didn't know that well mentioned to me that she was looking for a roommate. She had found this really cute house in a neighborhood that I love, and wanted to rent it. So, on a whim, I said
I was looking for a roommate and a cute house in the cute neighborhood. Little did I know Shannon would become such a great friend and encourager in my life.
This past summer, Shannon followed God's calling to teach in North Africa. She has been on an amazing journey, full of both up and downs, and while we all miss her being here, we know she is having a once in a lifetime experience. I am so thankful to have her as a friend and sister in Christ, and I know her 28th year will bring 28 more new and exciting experiences!

Awwwww, Mandy! I miss you so much! Two days ago while we were driving through town I saw a dog that was Emma's brother. OH. MY. GOSH. They looked identical! It made me miss her! I can't wait to see you this summer.
