Words of Wisdom

Don't eat cake for breakfast, no matter how ridiculously good-looking it is.

whoa! girl, what happened!!???

Oh, you know...I ate cake for breakfast. Then passed out in the middle of the night.

This does not bode well, I can see. Is that really your hand? That is an incredibly good-looking hand! Kudos on the sexy hand! But sorry about your bad judgement call...details, please!

Becky said...

Oh, we're on at the same time! How do you pass out in the middle of the night? Aren't you already passed out...ie. asleep?

Words of Wisdom...oh, let me see. Break the fast (eat breakfast), learned that in health class in grammar school. The food pyramid does not consist of pop tarts, popcorn, cookies, cake, etc. no matter how good they are!:} Glad I could be with you today. Hope you are feeling much better. Take care.
Love you,
Mom

I got up to get some water and that's when it happened. And, yes, that is really my hand. Thanks for the compliment!

girl, that is some crazy shizzle! is it broken?

Mandy said...

No, I didn't break anything or anything like that. I just had to get some things checked.

Is your hand broken? hahaha. I'm sorry Katie for making fun of that question, but that made me laugh really hard. Alright, for all those concerned for Mandy (as you should be), I've got things under control. I'll be taking care and making sure she does as she is supposed to. No worries, Mom! It was lovely to meet you today by the way! No more ridiculously good-looking cake Mandy!

dang- emily's like all up in my grill, mandy. what up wit dat? i was merely concerned about your lovely hand there. because in the pic i thought i made out a bone fracture of some sort...:)
i guess it was a stupid question, sorry.:)

Nah, I probably would've asked the same thing since it's a photo of her hand in a unique position. :)

So was it a blood sugar thing? They're not going to remove any more useless body parts from you are they?? You and you're passing out. At least it wasn't the champagne.

Anonymous said...

btw, that should be "your passing out". Sometimes my fingers get ahead of my brain.

Becky said...

You drank CHAMPAGNE for breakfast too? Mandy, we have to sit down and have a talk... ;)

Mandy said...

My hand looks broken? Shoot, I was going for a big "L" for "LOSER." As in, only losers eat cake for breakfast. And, well, so far we are thinking they won't have to remove anymore useless body parts. Of course, I don't have many of those left.

I promise I haven't had champagne for breakfast!

I hope you're feeling better, Mandy :( A couple years ago, I ate some fudge and washed it down with a Mike's Hard Lemonade for breakfast and ended up passing out too. My roommate ran downstaires and found me OUT COLD on the kitchen floor...she wanted to take me to the hospital, but I didn't want to go. Mainly because I didn't want to "own up" to having fudge and alcohol for breakfast!! :)

Ok Emily has it under control?......? I was the one on the phone with her while you were upstairs sleeping! I am on the phone telling her,"go upstairs and wake Kohen up or call your mom and wake her up!" (JK Emily:))
I think I do a pretty good job of making sure she eats.........(Christmas tree cakes, chips and dip, coffee, lunchroom salads, cake, cupcakes, swiss cake rolls, doughnuts, cookies, lunchroom food.........) Maybe it's Kohen's microwavable popcorn and cake that did it to you?
Seriously you are invitied over any night that I cook or any night that I go to dinner.
I can testify for today: I observed her eating two of her meals (lunch and dinner), and she had lots of protein.

Amy, you should just stop. First of all, you can't even spell my name, so that's reason enough for you to just stop talking altogether. It's KOEN! Now, not another word from you, understand? K-O-E-N...now, get it right!!!

Anonymous said...

...and second of all Amy J....just....just STOP!!! You aren't even worthy of a "second of all." Don't open your mouth again in my presence...ever!!

Mandy said...

A little PSA...Koen and Amy J are really friends. Don't worry.

Anonymous said...

Ok K-O-E-N, no more playing nice. First of all your name is ridiculously hard to spell so that doesn't count. Second of all, wait a minute you don't deserve a second of all either so you can STOP right there!

Emily...forgot to tell you that midnight hospital runs are involved in being Mandy's roommate!

Kohen broke your hand with a champagne bottle??

JLo--Hey, just because you have a baby in your stomach doesn't mean you have an excuse to spell my AWESOME name wrong!!! Get it right, 'yo! And NO...I didn't break her hand...it's just misformed naturally. She likes that look! And by the way, is Pat a guy or girl?

Gosh, I was going to comment, but maybe I'll just curl up in a fetal position and sleep.
Actually, I need to comment.
Emily, it was very nice to meet you, and thanks for agreeing to be a food policeman for my sometimes not very wise (when it comes to eating)daughter. Also, I desperately need you to fly out to Colorado and counsel Michelle!! She used to live on grilled cheese sandwiches...now it's fudge and hard lemonaide.

Awww Mom, it was lovely to meet you, too! I'll take care of her IF she decides she wants to call me (rather than people who are further away than up the staircase in the same house.) haha. She's learned, I suppose.
