Happy Birthday to You...And You...And You...And You

Oh, the birthdays within my family in November! Three out of four brothers and one out of two parents all have birthdays during this, the eleventh month of the year. Here is the November Birthday Rundown:

November 8--Happy, Happy Birthday to my Big Brother Chris!
Chris always finds a way to elude my camera. Don't get me wrong. He is in the picture, but his face is not actually visible in any picture I have of him. Not one. How does he manage to do that? Oh, well. Here are some nice pictures of him spoiling the nephews by letting them play with fireworks and giving them cool birthday presents.

November 13--Buon Compleanno, Howie!
Bet when I called you today, November 12, you thought I didn't know when your birthday really was, huh, Hal?? Oh, but I do. I just don't know when November 13 is. Aha! So, Happy Birthday, again, on the wrong day even though I DO know that your birthday is on November 13. Hope you have a chance to do some of your favorite things on your special day...like heckle liberals and shoot guns. Just don't heckle liberals while you shoot guns, okay?

November 19--Feliz CumpleaƱos to Joe, The Brother I Probably Tormented the Most
(Just cause I love you! And, because you were there to torment. Easy access, you know?)

Hmmm. Joe has found a way to elude my camera altogther, so I had to snag a picture of him from Amanda's site. I will have to fix that problem in the near future. Joe, prepare yourself for lots of picture taking in the near future.

As the brother nearest in age to me, Joe was the one I got in the most trouble with. Oh, the mischievious deeds. By the way, have you ever told Dad what happened to his canoe? Cause I haven't.

November 28--Happy Birthday to My Dear, Sweet Mom
Who Somehow Survived the Raising of All of Us

Mom, Happy Birthday! Thank you for patching up our skinned knees, drying our tears, praying for us, sitting up with us through many nights of being sick, and giving us a home that so many children can only dream of.

I also want to give a VERY belated Happy Birthday to Mark, whose September 7 birthday fell in the midst of a pretty crazy time for me. No excuse, though. I can't seem to locate ANY pictures of Mark (do all of you run from the room when I break out a camera?) but he pretty much looks like Chris. Of course, you can't really tell what Chris looks like from his pictures, so you'll have to use your imaginations.

Well, happy birthday to all...I have to say Hal has the best b-day of all the group!!!!, but your mom definitely wins my respect. All I can say is she's a brave woman...I won't be holding out till #5 to get my little girl!!!!

Oh man, Logan didn't sing for Uncle Chris on his birthday!!! We'll have to do two calls today. The boys sure LOVE those uncles...I do believe Hal would fly the boys out himself if I'd let him and Chris would buy them each a REAL 4-wheeler if he didn't have two daughters himself to buy for. :)

I'd bettah have lots of grandkids like Mary. With only two kids, they'd better live up to my expectations. Haha. I don't think 2-3 kids each is asking too much.

(I need to dig through my photos to see if I've got a good one of Chris...I'll get back with you on that one. I have only one photo of Hal with Logan and the flash didn't work well. I'll be snapping away like a mad woman at Matt's wedding, so people get ready for lots of photos - in the year 2008???)

I have just had the highlight of my b-day . . answering my cell phone and listening to Logan sing Happy Birthday to me . . with Gage providing the background vocals !! And yes Amanda, you are exactly right, I would fly those boys out there to Colorado in a heart beat !!

Gee Mandy, you just love those candid shots!! Glad you put Jack in the picture as he is fast becoming my best friend. Jack loves me unconditionally, doesn't talk back, gripe about getting the same food day after day, doesn't pout, keep score, etc. etc. Now, not that any of my sweet children would ever do any of the above because although not saintly, they were/are a pretty good bunch. Otherwise, I would have been in some mental institution foaming at the mouth.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, Michelle, Becky and Brunswick. Love you.

Also, Joe and Mandy...the canoe story please!

Thank you dear, sweet daughter for my birthday message. Seriously, I really had a wonderful time with you children all those years ago.

Young mothers enjoy the time you have now, believe me it will pass quickly.

Haha! We've kept that canoe story quiet for about 18 years now, so no way I'm giving in this easy :)
