So. Tired.
Six year olds can really wear you out. Even when you only have a few of them (and I really mean that, y'all. I have eight on my roster. Eight. That is my class. Eight kids.) They are The Puker, The Talker, The Other Talker, The Smiling Talker, The Low-Talker, Redhead, All She Wants For Christmas Are Her Two Front Teeth, and Please Do Your Work. They are super-cute and I like 'em lots. I would love to tell you more, but it is almost 9:30, which is my new bedtime.

Oh my gosh! I completely forgot that this was your first week! Call me and tell me all about it when you feel...less tired.
hahaha. love it! can't wait till Fall Break to make "my list" of names of students.
I thought of you constantly on Monday! Really. I wanted to call, but I knew you were, gasp, in class. Gone are the days when I can call you during work hours. By the time you were done, I wasn't where I could call.
Congrats on your first day/week. Can't wait to hear all about it. I haven't been able to hear anything - your preparations, your first day, all that.

your 6 yr olds gives me an idea to name my adult co-workers. . he he hee.... 'chain smoker', 'shuffle-upp-a-gus', 'boss #2', & my favorite, 'interrupt-me-one-more-time-&-your-computer-gets-it'.

I love your new bedtime!! I think every teacher gets one of those. Hang in there, you'll get used to it, or look forward to your breaks. Emily I'm jealous about the fall break!!
8 kids is it? I seem to recall there were alot more in classes when I grew up. Am I wrong?
Okay, this post scares me. I'll just believe in my mind that our boys will be labeled as "handsome sweet brown eyes" and "gorgeous blue eyed prince". Yeah, that's what I'll think. ;)

OK Miss Teacher Person...your last post was 9/19 so we need something new!! I am taking care of a 12 year old this week and that is equal to 8 first graders, so get busy. :}
