You know, it is bad enough us petite folk can't find clothes that fit, but now our representative petite planet Pluto has been booted from planet status. Just for being small?!?
I am so over scientists and their incessant need to (re)classify things.

Well, too bad about Pluto ( I was always a fan), but we small people will prevail one day, just you wait TALL SCIENTISTS!
But atleast you can find clothes!!
When you are an old "blue hair", (as you used to call them)the only thing out there falls way below the waist line (a real no-no) or appeals to the older geriatric crowd who need elastic waistbands (just in case you need the restroom in a hurry), then add to that your shrinking frame from bone loss as you get older...do I need to say more!!
I am also sorry about Pluto. Wanna do a March on Washington?

Amanda don't worry. As long as I get to pick my own place (spa, massage therapy, heated pool, extensive library, meals by a trained chef}it will be o.k. The boys can come visit me "at the home". BTW not everyone at the home wears Depends, has blue hair, etc. True story: 1-Husband is rumored to have a girlfried. 2-Wife has emotional breakdown 3-Husband comes in and tells wife he wants to take her to her hairdresser 4-Wife gets in car and husband takes her to a facility when she now lives 24/7. 5-Wife is not old, has son in high school.6-Wife is very angry and her vocabulary can't be repeated here.
7-I went to the facility to visit a relative, and wife mistook me for someone else. She told me she has issues with me even though I tried to explain to her we had never met. I just spoke to be friendly...but maybe I look like someone's girlfriend.
So there!! If your hubby wants to take you to the hairdresser, just sweetly tell him you can drive yourself. Just don't run over the curb on the way out.

What?!?! I take it they live in our town? Couldn't her son step in? A side of me would come out that no one has ever seen on this little episode!
The ladies at "the home" tell me she rarely has visitors or phone calls. When I went to clean out Jessie's room after she passed away, I gave Linda a pot of silk roses I had bought for Jessie. She told me she did not have any flowers in her room. Girls if you are listening there are lots of ministry opportunities out there.
