Hola de Mexico

Things are still going great here!

Our first night of VBS went well. We began a skit and divided the kids into groups to have them act out how it should end. They loved it! We also started a project last night that we that they will complete tonight.

During construction we have had nice cloudy overcast, so we have really enjoyed that. Today we continued demolishing the old library and took down a few columns. One of the columns had some electrical wiring in it, and things got a little interesting when Ben (some of you may remember him from CAK...he is a summer intern this year) thought the wiring was disconnected and tried to snap it with a pair of wire cutters. Pretty fireworks! Ben is okay, don´t worry. We also moved some cinder blocks from the roof of the boys dorm to the construction site. I am guessing those will be used next week.

We are all excited for our day off tomorrow. We are going to the beach, out to lunch, to the market, and out to dinner. Uriel and Jorge are going to go with us to the beach and out to lunch, so we are all excited about that opportunity to spend more time with the two of them.

That´s the update for today! I am not sure there will be one tomorrow, so read slowly.
