It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

You might think this is a Christmas post. But, no. This is where I tell you about how once a year I have to have a marathon day of sleep to function for the remainder of the year. And today seems to be that day. I got home from work and collapsed in bed about 4:00. I woke up around 9:30 and will soon return to blissful slumber after a quick meal. To any and all I may have talked to on the phone, please note I probably have no recollection of any conversation we had. Although I do vaguely remember answering the phone "Merry Christmas" at one point tonight. Sorry about that.

It's true people...one time in college she went to sleep on the couch on a Thursday and I believe woke up the following Monday.

It's a shame that you have to condense it down to one day now that you're an adult with responsibilities...

I'm deprived of naps....ah, to snooze for just a few peaceful minutes on the couch....

This'll make everyone feel better. I ran into a friend the other day and he said that his son still doesn't sleep through the night - and the kid is 6 YEARS OLD.

I usually get really sick this time of year, what with the end of the nine weeks and all. But since we don't end it until AFTER Christmas here, I haven't really been sick. Until today. I think my throat is starting to be sore. So yay for Saturdays and not having to prepare sub. work and an excuse to lay around in the bed all day long.
