The Four Year Old Mind

A conversation between my too cute for words nephews, both age four:

Logan: (upon re-entering our hometown, as signified by passing Wal-Mart) Hey! We're back in Georgia.

Ty: No, this isn't Georgia. This is California.

Logan: Nuh-uh, this is Georgia.

Ty: No, California. See, right there...California.

Logan: Well, you call it what you call it, and I'll call it what I call it.

Another treasure from a 4 year old.
(I served in the nursery today, and Logan was upstairs in church with his granddad and Aunt Mandy.) Me: "Logan, what did Pastor Dan have to say today"?
Logan: "I don't know. I didn't call him".
I learn so much listening to grandchildren.

What I want to know is what the heck was Ty pointing at when he said California???? You don't live in California (and a sigh of relief is breathed by boat captains the world over...)

Good call Katie--I'm on it!

Wal-Mart, Becky. He was pointing at Wal-Mart. Go figure.

Ms. Becky,

Sometimes I wonder.........

Hey, I'm glad Logan was diplomatic about it!

We were going outside to play the other day and Logan was putting on his sneakers by himself. Joe told him to make sure not to wear his new New Balance...and Logan stated, "I'm not, I'm putting on my Old Balance."

Hey Capt...you call it what you call it, and I'll call it what I call it...

Ms. Becky,

Your 10:35 comment: That was good

Ms. Katie,

Keep up girl, read then respond. ;)

Ms. Mandy,

You have some nutty friends with active imaginations. (not that it's a bad thing)

I do have some nutty friends, that's for sure. Feel free to visit them on their blogs. I'm sure they'd love it.

Ms Mandy, are you trying to pass me off on your other friends? (insert big grin here) Trust me, I bounce through their blogs sometimes, just haven't posted.

Ms Katie,

Relax, I'm not the boggie man.

I can not recall how I found this blog it may have been from Blogger's "next blog" button or from a link someplace else. I do recall the first post I read had a picture of one of the kids in "frog boots" I loved the boots. I want a pair. LOL I know it sounds stupid but in foul weather I have a pair of rubber boots that I wear, but they are all white. Not cool "frog boots". I would be the evny of all the captains at the fish house (where we sell our catch) if I showed up with those. Anyway, I have a list of about 30 or so blogs I read regularly and Ms. Mandy's made the list. Feel free to stop in at my blog and say hello.

Aw, that would be Gage's boots! They unfortunately are all scratched up now and had to retire. :(

Have you searched online? I'm thinking lobster would be cool.

Yes, Becky, I do. Be nice to me...I am moving soon and I will let you visit me on that beautiful Pacific coast :)
