Come As You Are

Aw, Willa. I just don't know how to thank you. Really.

Why?
Because my friend Willa tagged me in "Come As You Are", meaning I am to post a photo of myself at this moment, along with a little info about the person who tagged me and why I look the way I look in this lovely little picture.

First, a little about Willa. I met her several years back as we were preparing to travel to Mexico on a mission trip. We both have a quirky sense of humor, a childhood that involved dads who thought hiking straight up the side of a mountain was a great activity for a Saturday afternoon, and a love of Alias. Willa has been a constant supporter of my move to Acapulco, and a wonderful mentor and friend.

On to the picture. Oh my stars. Well, this picture was taken with my webcam, and is of horrible quality. That is probably a good thing. It helps mask the dark circles under my eyes and my lack of make-up. I had a training today, so I was on the phone with my co-worker Amy J. to find out if my substitute had survived. Apparently my class was a little rough on her. I am doing my favorite evening activity--checking everyones' blogs and catching up on email before heading off to Las Palmas for some Chicken Nachos. Mmmmmmmmm.

Okay, let the fun continue:

Mandy and Willa forgot to mention that their wonderful moms (Cindy and Mary) were the balance in their lives that they needed after being dragged along on forced marches most of their lives!! HA HA

I had a dream last night (you know my crazy dreams) that I was home again and my parents asked me where I wanted to eat. Duh! Las Palmas!
