- Today is the 20th anniversary of the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl. This happened the same year as the Challenger disaster, which I vividly remember, but I have absolutely no recollection of anything concerning Chernobyl. In fact, I don't remember hearing about it at all in history classes in high school or college. I think that is odd.
- I also think this is odd. A different kind of odd, of course.
- Tonight is my night of TV euphoria. Amazing Race and Alias air at the same time. What's a girl to do? (How sad is it that so many of my posts are tied to television? Look, I tried to break it off...) Who will be Philiminated? Will the annoying hippies continue yelling "T-Tow" at each other (cause that never gets old...) Will Sydney be reunited with Vaughn? Is Will coming back tonight? What about Anna? And the big one...which will I watch live, and which will I tape? Oh, the questions...

I also know nothing about Chernobyl, but vividly remember the Challenger. The most I know about Chernobyl is what I have heard on The X-Files (boy, I miss that show). Maybe it's because they happened so close together? Like when Princess Di and Mother Theresa died within a week of each other, Di got WAAAYYYYYYY more media attention. Maybe there's not enough room in the media for two huge stories? Can you imagine the disaster if TomKat and Brangelina had their babies in the same week?????

Katie--I am intrigued by the pb slices myself. I am tempted to get some just to satisfy the curiosity. And Pickler is GONE! That deserves a WHOHOO!!!
Becky--I actually saw a Beneful commercial tonight and declare myself officially grossed out. What in the name of all that is good...?? I will have to show you the link thing--it is confusing as can be.
Scott--I have Alias taped! Let me know if y'all want to borrow it and I will bring it next time I am in Chatt. Valley. Jack and Syd do know about Vaughn!
