You know what I like about a new year? A fresh calendar. Not in some deep psychological sense of getting to start anew and all that nonsense. I mean an actual clean, new planner. I start every year with one and vow to only use pencil so that it doesn't get all crossed out and marked up. Then by early fall it is falling apart and at some meeting my pencil breaks and all I have is a pen and we try to set a meeting and I write it down then someone realizes they can't make it and I have to scratch it out...an OCD nightmare. So, I sit here with my new, fresh planner. With my info all filled in with pencil. Let the challenge begin.
